We all need to know numbers, right? This guide will give you the basics of learning numbers in Spanish.

Let’s start with 1-20,

Uno Dos Tres Cuatro Cinco Seis Siete Ocho Nueve Diez Once Doce Trece Catorce Quince Dieciséis Diecisiete Dieciocho Diecinueve Veinte

Here is the slightly confusing part, 21-29 have their own rule:

Veinte uno Veinte dos Veinte tres Veinte cuatro Veinte cinco Veinte seis Veinte siete Veinte ocho Veinte nueve

And then 29-99 have their own rule, which stays the same throughout. It is the same as 21-29, however, you need to say ‘thirty and one’ or ‘treinta y uno’ instead of ‘thirty one’ or ‘treinta uno’.

Here are the numbers from 30-100 in sets of 10,
Treinta

(31-39 is treinta y uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve)

Cuarenta

(41-49 is cuarenta y uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve)

Cincuenta

(51-59 is cincuenta y uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve)

Sesenta

(61-69 is sesenta y uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve)

Setenta

(71-79 is setenta y uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve)

Ochenta

(81-89 is ochenta y uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve)

Noventa

(91-99 is noventa y uno, dos, tres, cuatro, cinco, seis, siete, ocho, nueve)

Cien
